you don’t have to hide in a cave . . .
you don’t have to fold yourself into a pretzel either . . .
There are a lot of proven benefits to meditation:
- Reduces stress and anxiety (and helps us feel calmer and happier)
- Reduces physical and emotional pain
- Benefits to heart/cardiovascular health
- Can benefit a wide range of chronic conditions (via this interesting study)
There are also a lot of meditation myths out there that hinder us from receiving the wonderful benefits of being mindful.
